Caesar Slaw with Crispy Chicken
Well here are some pictures of my newly covered roof. They got the shingles finished. Woo-Hoo!!!!!!!!!
This shot shows a place where I had a minor leak every time there was a major rainstorm. Once the gutter is installed, it should be leak-free. Right at the bottom of this valley is where it leaked into the room, on the wall. I'm looking forward to not having that leak any more.

I was lucky - I have the old-fashioned tongue-in-groove type of wood underneath the shingles. It was mostly in good shape. That stuff is supposed to be good wood to have on your roof. They only had to replace a small amount of it and then they put the new ice barrier on, then the new shingles. These pictures show it with the old shingles removed and the tongue-in-groove wood exposed. This is my personal blog. I've been inspired by many bloggers and that's why you'll see different subjects in every new post. Food, sports, music, the joys of owning my own home and vehicle, movies, and whatever else I can dream up.
